Today, I had on a pair of earrings that I purchased a while ago.  They were really annoying as they kept pushing out of my ears.  I was afraid that I might lose one of them.  So, I gave them a quick fix and the problem was solved.  Here is the tip:  place both earrings on something like a crochet hook or some other smooth round rod that will fit and allow the earrings to dangle in the top of the ear wires. As they dangle together, place one finger at the front of the ear wires and your thumb on the back of the ear wires and gently squeeze them both at the same time (to keep both earrings the same). The problem is that the ear wires are touching your neck and are pushing the earrings out. Squeezing the ear wires closes the wires so that they will no longer touch your neck. Just don't squeeze too hard! You are just going to bend them only a little. This works for me.  I hope it works for you.
